The Settings tab contains global configuration options that apply across all strategies and placements.
General
- Enable Recommendations — Master switch to enable or disable all recommendation output on the storefront. When disabled, no recommendations render on any page
Auto-refresh
Relevancy scores can be automatically regenerated on a schedule to keep recommendations current as the product catalog changes.
- Enable Auto-Refresh — Turn scheduled regeneration on or off
- Refresh Interval — How often to regenerate scores (daily is the default)
Auto-refresh runs in the background using batched processing. It does not affect storefront performance.
Custom taxonomy signal
- Enable Custom Taxonomy Signal — Allow custom product taxonomies to be used as ranking signals in strategies
- Taxonomy Selection — Choose which taxonomies to include. Only taxonomies registered on the product post type are listed (product categories are handled separately and excluded from this selector)
Advanced
- Debug Mode — Enable detailed logging to
wp-content/debug.logfor troubleshooting. Leave disabled in production
License
The License tab provides license key activation and status. Enter the license key from the Refinery account dashboard and click Activate.
An active license enables automatic plugin updates. Without an active license, the plugin continues to function but does not receive updates.
