How It Works

When a product goes out of stock, the Add to Cart button is replaced with a waitlist signup form. Customers enter their email and they're subscribed. When you restock the product (manually or via inventory sync), Waitlist automatically sends a notification email with a direct link to purchase. For Coming Soon products, enable Coming Soon mode in the product editor and customers can join the waitlist before launch.

Use Case: Physical Product Restocks

Your best-selling product sells out. Instead of losing those customers to a competitor, they join the waitlist. You restock 2 weeks later. Waitlist sends a back-in-stock email to every subscriber with a direct purchase link. You convert demand you would have otherwise lost.

Use Case: Pre-Launch Product Validation

You're considering a new product line but aren't sure about demand. Set the product to Coming Soon mode and promote it on your site and social channels. Track how many people join the waitlist. If you get 500 signups in a week, you've got real demand data. If you get 5, you've saved yourself from a bad inventory decision.

Use Case: Variation-Level Demand Tracking

You sell apparel in 6 sizes and 4 colors. Size Medium in Black sells out constantly. With variation-level waitlists, you know exactly which SKU has the most demand. Use that data to adjust your next purchase order. Customers subscribed to "Medium / Black" only get notified when that specific variation is restocked, not when an unrelated size comes back.

Recover Lost Revenue

Every out-of-stock page visit is a potential sale walking away. Without a waitlist, those customers leave and you have no way to bring them back. With Waitlist, you capture their intent and re-engage them at the exact moment they can buy. Combine with Refinery Urgency to add stock scarcity alerts when products return with limited inventory. Stores using back-in-stock notifications see measurable recovery of revenue that would otherwise be lost.

Compatibility

Requires WooCommerce 7.0+ and WordPress 6.0+. Fully supports WooCommerce HPOS. Works with simple and variable products. Compatible with all major WooCommerce themes and page builders. Waitlist is included in the All Access Pass.
